Choice Corporate Housing, Inc. Trends
For many corporations, a growing trend in the industry is to no longer pay for hotel rooms for their associates or even rent executive properties for a short or long term period. Many corporations have found an even easier and more financially beneficial way to accommodate their associates when traveling for business- purchasing executive properties outright.
One of the top trends in the executive housing industry over the last few years is to purchase property in locations that suit your business travelers with quality long term accommodations while saving lots of money on the bottom line. Today you can find condominium complexes that cater to corporations purchasing units.
While properties that sell units to corporations for short term executive residence are not a new idea, it has become popular once again to lessen the overall expenditures as more and more employees are traveling and living for short periods of time away from the office.
These units are usually always centrally managed by a third party property management company, include furnished accommodations and are usually centrally located to many of the corporate parks and industrial centers in the area.
Another reason purchasing executive units can be extremely cost effective is for those companies that have employees scattered throughout town traveling on business. For many companies buying several units in one central location can increase productivity and reduce logistics and management issues.
One of the trends that have helped the sale of individual executive corporate condo unit get a foothold is the switch from renting property to buying it throughout the entire industry. Just as more corporations are purchasing office space, more and more corporations are seeing the benefits of buying executive condos rather than renting them for the long term.
While executive housing has been growing due to the length of time many associates must be away from the office, another benefit of owning corporate housing units is as a reward for many associates. Many corporations purchase executive units in top locations near ski resorts, top Florida vacation spots or near critically acclaimed golf courses and offer these accommodations as part of incentives or rewards for those that reach lofty goals or achieve top performance. While not a new trend, these types of rewards are once again gaining traction in the industry.
For those looking for executive housing, a growing trend in the industry is to purchase units instead of renting.
